NEW LOO AT CHURCH - A planning application has been submitted to install a composting toilet on the grounds of All Saints, this will replace the existing portaloo if approved. Full details are available from Wiltshire Council. A decision is expected on November 10.

FIRST AIDERS - If you are a registered first aider, the Parish Council would like your details in case of emergency. More details here.

ROAD CLOSURES - The B4696 between Ashton Keynes and Wootton Bassett is closed two miles south of Leigh for bridge repair works. This closure is expected to be in place until the end of the year.  More details here.

POLICE VISIT - The Leigh’s community police officer will be at Hillside from 3.00pm-5.00pm on October 20th to speak to the public about any concerns.

Road closed: B4696 at Braydon Crossroads,heading towards Leigh. Will be closed from 11 September until January for bridge replacement works.

Upcoming Church Events

October 29th at 10 am a service in Leigh All Saints church  - everyone welcome. One of our Upper Thames 5th sunday communion services.

October 29th 6 pm in Holy Cross church Ashton Keynes. A service for All Souls when we will remember those we love and see no longer from the villages of Leigh and Ashton Keynes. It s alovely quiet service where we light candles in memory of loved ones.  If you would like us to include the name of someone you have loved but see no longer, please contact our office upper.thames.office@gmail.com or 01793 979304.

Fri Nov 3rd JAM (exploring Jesus and Fireworks) for children and young people and their families 4.15 pm in Leigh church.

Sat Dec 2nd Leigh Christmas Tree Lighting 6 pm at the church. With mince pies, mulled wine, carols.
